This project in Niagara-On-The-Lake presented a few different challenges. A conventional foundation would have required an archaeological study because of the site. In addition, since PondView is a working winery, we came very close to the vines and the lawns. This job would not have been possible with frost walls and footings.
Once the job site was prepared for concrete, the insulation was set, and the ECONO-SLAB™ form was laid. The anchors were perfectly placed for this structure using the anchor bolt templates. It took two days to set the form, pour and finish the concrete. Within a week, we were ready to start the installation of the building. The finished building is an excellent 50’ x 80’ storage structure.
