This ECONO-SLAB™ floating foundation is installed by Columna Inc. in Carstairs, AB. It was an 8"-thick slab measuring 66' 8" x 150', eliminating the need for over 400 linear feet of frost wall. ECONO-SLAB™ saved the client weeks of prep time and over 50% of the price of forming and concrete. Once completed, the slab supported a large pre-engineered building supplied by our partners Steel Built Corp.
